Woke up with some pain in my left under arm & I felt a lump...did some searching and I got a bit worried.

Got up at4:30 again to get on the road. This was the longest day ever. We eventually got home 12 hours from when I woke up. Lord almighty, I am so exhausted...and all I did was ride in a car! You would think with how tired I am, I was the one pulling the car!

Day 240

I got up at 4AM to get on the road by 5. We eventually didn't leave until 5:30AM and we got into New Orleans at 7AM or so. We were using GPS to help us out. It was great until New Orleans! For some reason, it got us so backwards that we eventually turned it off and tried finding Bourbon St. on our own. We ended up passing the street a few times. Figures huh?

We stayed long enough to find Bourbon Street, take a few photos from the car and get back on the road. I was going to meet my parents at Caddo Lake where Beau's uncle lives.

Did the wedding thing today...If you are ever in Biloxi, MS I highly suggest Mary Mahoney's! The salmon was wonderful!

Went to Emril's Gulf Coast Fish House this afternoon. It was good but so expensive!

On our way to the Gulf Coast in Mississippi we stopped and visited the grave of a close friend of me and Beau's. He committed suicide Oct. 9, 2004...Whenever we lost Danny, we named him after Daniel because it was almost exactly two years to the date when we lost a good friend.

Made it to East Texas & we went to hang out with the in-law's while my mother was at work.

Officially started our vacation. Driving through Dallas late at night was a lot better than driving during the day.

I did my first photo shoot with some good friends of ours. The photos came out great. I practiced doing this pose with Amanda before trying it out with Shera. I like the results.

How...strange. We should be celebrating his first birthday around this time of April. Instead, I am see the first bloom on the rose bush my mother-in-law bought for me to plant in memory of when he should have been born.

Took Beau some lunch. I was messing around with the settings on the camera...Ah, typical Beau.

I was gonna make cookies today but when the kitchen is reaching 100* I'll put it off until it is much cooler. It was so hot inside the kitchen, I had to step OUTSIDE to cool off. It was 91* outside so that tells you how it must have felt inside the kitchen. What the hell happened to Spring?

Got my rings resized so I could actually wear them. I am really hoping they will be done before the vacation. They promised me Friday though...so, lets cross our fingers!

I did a few bags of rice for Shera's wedding. I did some reaserching on the internet for a substitute and ideas for the rice. I came across Lavender Wedding Rice...it is really just Lavender buds!

I went to the post office to mail some cards off...but that is boring. So I stopped by the park I got married at and took some photos...but we've all seen what that place looks like. While I was at the park, I heard church bells going off. So, I sought them out! I went to 4 different church lots and I finally found them. By the time I got there, the tune had changed.

The vid is only 3 seconds long and sideways...I actually stopped recording right as somebody passed by and honked at me. When somebody is holding a camera standing on the sidewalk, why must a person honk? It makes me all frazzled!

A cousin is getting married the same day as my sister-in-law. I need to get a congrats card and send it explaining why we won't be able to attend.

It was a lazy Sunday indeed. Here is Bill lazing around while we watched The Mist - it was based on a Stephen King book. I'm a fan of King but I've never read the book but since the Director was the same who did The Green Mile & The Shawshank Redemption, I figured I couldn't go wrong with The Mist. I loved the movie...until the end. ;)

Made a huge deposit of my Pinecone Research checks and cash I've been squirling away for the Vacation in 2 weeks. (!!!!!!!)

Talked to my Mom for the first time in a month...I'm weird and when I am on the phone, I always write down things so that I can tell Beau about them later. Since I tell Beau EVERYTHING, I know I usually forget some important details. Yea...I'm odd.

Day 216

The vacation to Mississippi became more and more real today. I got out the wonderful matching 5 piece luggage we got and started packing some small things I know I will forget to take. Many trips when I was younger taught me to pack everything in advance because SOMEBODY will forget something...usually the pajamas or bathing suit. Ha!

Just 17 more days!

Beau wanted these shoes a few months back. But, on Sailor Jerry's website, they were $50! Tonight, we went to Midland to find him a watch & eat dinner with the in-law's and lo and behold, Ross was carrying these shoes! For $15! So, of course Beau had to snag them up without a second thought.

Fell for an April Fool's joke that DeviantArt did. I kept seeing this annoying Stitch like charector on my page. I looked at a few other people and the same thing...I was this close to contacting Customer Support when I decided to search for mudkips on DA. Mudkips apparently is what the annoying Stitch like dude is called...

Come to find out...it was just an April Fool's joke.
